Caught the preview and it's like seeing a Vanity Fair article come to life. Rich with detail from actual court transcripts and sometimes hard to follow, but worth the effort. Ultimately, it's a cautionary tale about what happens when we ignore warnings and stop asking questions and choose blindly to support what we think is a greater good.
There was a kerfuffle after the preview when the playwright (and former investigative journalist), Phelim McAleeer confronted a man who had been disrupting the 70 minute, no intermission show. Turns out, the playwright is a bit of a polarizing figure, often called the Right's Michael Moore. Regardless of your politics, "verbatim theatre" like this is a public service and deserves an audience.
